Babyruth

Baby Ruth is a candy bar made by Nestlé. It consists of a bed of chocolate flavored nougat topped with peanuts and caramel. Everything is then coated in chocolate. It is a common misconception that Baby Ruth's are named after legendary baseball star Babe Ruth. They are officially named after Grover Cleveland's daughter, Ruth Cleveland. This is believed to be because the Curtiss Candy Company, original creator of the bar, did not want to pay the royalty fees to use Babe Ruth's likeness.

Variations[]

Baby Ruth bars are sold in normal and King sizes as well as in bags of minature and Fun sizes. There are also Baby Ruth Ice Cream bars and Baby Ruth Crisp bars.
