Mounds is a candy bar made by Hershey. It consists of a coconut center covered in dark chocolate. Mounds is considered to be the sister product to Almond Joy, due to the fact that they are very similar, with the notable addition of almonds on an Almond Joy. Almond Joys are also coated in milk chocolate, as opposed to the dark chocolate on Mounds.
Variations[]
There have not been too many variations on Mounds. There was one limited release of a Mounds Island Orange bar, which featured orange colored and flavored coconut, but that seems to be the extent of variations.
